EXCAVATION OF EMPTY LOT USING HEAVY EQUIPMENT
If you are planning any excavation of a lot using equipment it is important that you work with us regarding old pipes. If your equipment finds old pipes and pulls on them you may break our pipes either under the road, at the connection to the water main, or at the meter. This has happened repeatedly. In order to avoid this, please either:
- Call us to set up an appointment where we can work with you to locate the old pipes
- Cut your old pipes where they exit the meter
If you do not do this you will be responsible for all repair costs to our system.
